The annual Northern Ireland Energy Forum recently took place at Titanic Belfast. Supported by Pinsent Masons and NIE Networks, delegates in attendance heard from a number of expert speakers including Joe Reynolds, Department for the Economy; Rebecca Lawson, Forum for the Future and Dr Thomas Muinzer, University of Stirling. This year’s Forum covered some of the major issues shaping the energy landscape. Topics included; the impact of Brexit on energy markets, an update on I-SEM, investing in energy infrastructure and the role of renewable energy in Northern Ireland.
