Queen’s launches Public Engagement Office

Queen’s University has established a new central Public Engagement Office which is responsible for public affairs, community engagement/impact and business engagement.

The office based within the University’s new Marketing, Recruitment, Communications and Internationalisation Directorate is headed by independent Policing Board member and former Director of Community and Public Affairs at Ulster GAA Ryan Feeney.

Speaking about the launch of the Office Feeney said: “Queen’s has a long standing culture of students and staff undertaking significant public engagement and community work. The new Public Engagement unit will support and enhance this work within the framework of the new University Social Charter which will be launched in the autumn.”
